You know in Harry Potter when he wins the Felix Felicis with the potions book from the half-blood prince? I woke up feeling like that. I think its because I slept really well, and then I got a hot shower (my second one in 24 days).

I'm loving my school more and more each day! Yesterday was the first day of Spring here, so we had a "reina de primavera"-- its more or less a beauty pageant with one child from each classroom in an outfit made of recyclable materials we could find in the classroom. Damaris was our class' Reina de Primavera, and I have to say, I took 1 hour to made her crown and it was awesome. The problem with this pageant is they give teachers 2 hours notice so that no one can cheat... so I didn't bring Aida's camera. But I'm going to try to figure something out. Damaris shimmied down the catwalk with some major sass... it made my week.

In other news (big news) I was offered a fellowship at the University of Georgia starting in January, tuition and a hefty monthly stipend and possible return trip to Peru. I had a skype interview with the director today! How perfect and wonderful is life turning out to be- God slapped me in the face with this opportunity. Let me know if you have an apartment in mind in Athens :) Its hard to hunt from Cusco.

Also, field trip tomorrow to some Inca ruins pronounced "sexy woman"... I can't spell it.
