-I found out that Patrick Swayze died... when did that happen?
-I´ve never missed macaroni Saturday more than when I was served chicken feet today. I made a vow to try all the food I was given in Peru. I tried it, and it was gross. Really gross. They made me eggs instead.
-I love waitressing here! The gringos are all so relieved when I ask if they prefer I speak English. I feel so useful! However, the Peruvians won´t always order from me because they pretend I can´t speak Spanish. Also, the bartender snuck me a coca cola light and a bite of ice cream.
