Oh my...

...how things move!

"Soles for Soles" is now going to team up with the Global Autism Project (woo hoo!!) to get some resources down to Cuzco.

What does this mean? It means I'll have an official "in" with the ministry of education as a nonprofit to get into San Martin and provide some ABA services and teacher training.

It also means no need to incorporate. Fundraising is now tax deductible! When the fundraising kicks off (and oh, will it kick), it will be sent to Global Autism Project, which will then hook me up with the funds. MUCH easier than asking for "me" money!

On another note, my contract with Hillgrove High School ends in May, and due to cuts in allotments (being blamed on Obama not signing the IDEA stimulus act this year) I was not rehired. So far, I've applied to Portland, Seattle, Nashville, Asheville, Savannah, Atlanta, Charleston, and Las Vegas School Districts. Why not? I was also offered a position in Kuwait... Keep me posted on any opportunities in your area!

I'll be meeting (by phone) with the CEO of the Global Autism Project weekly to discuss developments. This week I'll present to her an itemized budget, and hopefully be able to return some questionairres I sent out to my contacts in Cuzco.

Keep the big, cool, changes in prayers and good thoughts! Peace with you all.

Peace, love.
